In 2007 Kasim took a screenwriting course and that year he met the team of Moving Mountains. After being laid off from his job Kasim decided to Self- Publishing his Novel True Brothers and Their Pride and joy. Since then he's Published 7 novel's Hood Lover, Someone's gotta be on top, Year of the Gentlemen, She's not for you, Caught between

 Women and Pure Evil.

In 2010 he took directing and acting classes and he received his Directing and Producing certificate.  In 2013 Kasim had his first stage play Someone's gotta be on top, and since he's Acted, Directed, Produced, and written 2 stage plays. and had them both 2 times each. Kasim has also branched out to Filmmaking. Kasim has Acted, Directed, Produced, and written 2 stage plays. With his Production and Publishing company, Kasim plans opening people's eyes.

Kasim went to Touro College  where he received his associate's degree and having

 97 College Credits Kasim plans to finish to get his BA degree.
